North Park Wilson School is proud to be known as a centre of excellence for Arts education.

We teach the provincial curriculum in Arts Education with integrity and strive to infuse the arts into all subject areas. We are fortunate to have band, music and visual arts specialists as part of our core teaching staff and our teachers work hard to ensure our students are learning about, through and within the arts.

As citizens of the 21st century, our students need to be collaborative, creative, critical thinkers. As lifelong learners, our staff is engaged in finding and using research based instructional strategies and approaches to meet the diverse learning needs of our students. At North Park Wilson School our teachers work hard to create rich learning environments dedicated to ensuring that all students can reach their potential.

Our school culture embraces diversity. Children in our building come from a wide range of cultural, ethnic and social backgrounds. With a focus on honoring differing perspectives and celebrating diversity, our students learn about empathy, tolerance and respect for the gifts each of us has to share.

Students in our school have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of extra-curricular activities. Throughout the year, choir, cross country, volleyball, basketball, indoor and outdoor track are available. Our art club, dance club, book club and recycling group invite students to pursue their unique interests.

We believe our school is strengthened when we capitalize on the experience and talents of those around us. We have an active, engaged Community School Council and Parent Council who work tirelessly to ensure that learning opportunities for our students are maximized.

Our school serves the neighbourhoods of City Park, North Park, Richmond Heights and Woodlawn and has an enrolment of approximately 220 students. We are ideally located close to downtown, the picturesque river bank, beautiful parks, the University of Saskatchewan, the Mendel Art Gallery and Archibald Arena and many of our daily activities take advantage of what our neighbourhood has to offer.

At North Park Wilson, our staff, students and community work together to ensure that the experiences in our school support our children as they develop into happy, healthy, engaged citizens.
