* In September 2013, Forest Grove School will begin offering French Immersion in Kindergarten to Grade 4.
Forest Grove School is made up of approximately 40 support and teaching staff and serve a student population of just over 400 students. Our school draws the majority of our students from Forest Grove and Willowgrove Communities. We are a Kindergarten to Grade Eight School that has a focus on math and writing.
When you walk into our school you will see the flags representing the cultural diversity of our student body. This diversity is our greatest strength. We have a full time EAL teacher who serves approximately 30 students whom are learning English as an additional language.
At Forest Grove School we believe all students can demonstrate continuous growth given time support and motivation. We believe in the importance of early intervention with our young learners. We promote daily reading through our Division initiative, Just Read. The Read to Succeed program is used to assist our students who are behind in their literacy skills. It is important for us to create a strong skill base in math, reading and writing.
At Forest Grove School, we are committed to caring, sharing, and excellence. In our hallways you will hear laughter, see smiles and experience mutual respect between staff and students.
