Welcome to Silverspring School!

Opened in 2001, we are a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school located in Saskatoon's northeast. Our school boasts a school population of just over 540 students, along with 50 staff and 22 classrooms. You will find our school teeming with bright instructional spaces conducive to learning. We are confident that you will feel our school's warmth and energy as soon as you walk through our front doors. Our inviting and spacious family friendly foyer will only accentuate the pleasant greeting you will receive from our exceptional front office staff.

We are a vibrant school devoted to supporting students' optimum learning. With our focus on Academic, Physical and Environmental Literacy, Silverspring School is truly a hub of activity. As a complement to our strong academic program, Silverspring places a strong emphasis on the health and wellness of its students. Body breaks are held twice daily. We are determined to champion an enhanced physical education program that encourages fitness. We believe that, kinesthetically, students will perform better academically if their physical health is at its optimum.

Silverspring School, anchored by its strong staff, offers a strong curricular and co-curricular program. Our greatest strength is the delivery of curriculum. We boast strong academic leaders who establish and maintain a high level of dedication to our students by adhering to high academic standards. Silverspring offers:

• Core French beginning in Grade 5
• Band beginning in Grade 6
• Two half-time Physical Education teachers (primary and middle years), and
• a Kindergarten to Grade 5 Music program

Our extensive extracurricular programs reflect the large number of staff members we have who enjoy providing students with additional educational opportunities.
