Marion Graham Collegiate is a modern high school of over 750 students located in Saskatoon's north end. Our students enjoy a safe learning environment that celebrates diversity and encourages and facilitates student success. Marion Graham students are given opportunities to excel through their participation in a variety of extracurricular activities or in an academic setting. As expressed in our school motto, learning is a clear priority within three major focal points: Academics, Arts and Athletics.

Academics

Marion Graham Collegiate offers a strong academic program that suits the needs of all students. Students have a choice of selecting a wide array of optional classes that, along with our required classes, provide a strong base for future educational and career aspirations. Marion Graham is renowned for its innovative Outdoor School and Musical Theatre programs. Our diverse programming ranges from Functional Life Skills (FLS) to Advanced Placement Calculus.

English as a Second or Additional Language (ESL/EAL) programming is expanding at Marion Graham. Our Staff is dedicated to providing the educational supports our new students need to make initial transitions to life in a Canadian school or to pursue a strong academic program. New students can expect a warm welcome at Marion Graham -- a school that has received City of Saskatoon Living in Harmony Awards for its work with new immigrant students and families. Our school has been honoured to host Citizenship Court and works closely with the Saskatoon Open Door Society to offer homework help for new students. A partnership with the Saskatoon Rotary Club has led to the creation of a strong Interact Club in our school. The diversity of our student body is represented by flags displayed in our library that indicate the country of origin of all Marion Graham students.

Arts

Arts programming at Marion Graham is second to none in Saskatoon. Students have access to five arts strands in the school: band, choral, musical theatre, visual arts and dance. Each program offers students the opportunity to move from an introductory level in Grade 9 to levels of excellence in senior grades. Each November, Marion Graham presents to the public a renowned musical theatre production that is part of our Musical Theatre credit class. Our Band and Choral programs have attained a reputation for excellence that is reinforced annually through various festival and performance awards. Our Dance Academy offers programming for all grade levels. Our Visual Arts program boasts excellent instruction and fine facilities for all types of visual art. The Marion Graham Drum Line receives requests for performances throughout the city and brings amazing energy to any venue. Marion Graham students have countless opportunities to develop a life long love of the arts or to nurture a future career in the arts.

Athletics

Falcon Athletics is on a roll! Marion Graham currently lays claim to a number of city championships and is poised for more success in 2009-2010. Students can participate in a full range of activities from frosh to senior levels. The focal points of Falcon Athletics are participation, sportsmanship and skill acquisition.
