What services are available?

SAGE offers a range of services to support gifted learners.

Support in your current classroom:  Through differentiation, your child’s teacher may offer alternative activities, inquiry projects or combination of working more deeply and/or quickly in certain subjects.

Working with experts: Your child may have the opportunity to work with a mentor in elementary school, or participate in an academic work placement during high school.

Events for the gifted: Your child may participate in special pull-out programs, like Future Problem Solving.

Extended placement in a classroom for the gifted: Your child may be offered placement in a congregated program. The elementary locations are Caswell, Greystone Heights and Dr. John G. Egnatoff schools. Students are placed in a specific school is based on the neighborhood you live in. In high school, students may apply to the program of their choice regardless of neighborhood. The collegiate programs for the gifted include:
