Discover a Royal Line-Up

Mount Royal is a leader throughout Saskatchewan with initiatives like the Restorative Justice program. Learn more about Royal achievements like Bridges, Saskatoon Trades and Skills Centre, English as an Additional Language, Royal West, the Grade 9 program and much more. Discover how clubs and teams fan the flames of Royal spirit.

Royal People

Mount Royal is a school for everyone. Students come from nearby neighborhoods and from the Dakota Whitecap First Nation. They come from more than 27 countries across the world and 65 First Nations in Western Canada. Innovative and inspired teachers share their love of learning in classrooms around the school. Mustang Minutes show the warm hearts of Royal students through projects like collecting warm coats for newcomers or sponsoring an orphaned pet. Royal spirit soars around the school and beyond school doors.

Royal Programs

Discover Mount Royal’s diversity and excellence. There is a world where academics thrive and opportunities in trades and skills abound. From machining a plumb bob to making a perfect biscuit, from welding to world religions, from computer graphics to cosmetology, from work education to the intricacies of physics, Royal has something for everyone.

We Don't

Raise money or ask you to plan school-based activities. We also don’t ask you to be at every meeting. Come when you can — you are always welcome.

We Do

Need your support and guidance. Mount Royal is changing. Our student population is changing. Our world is changing. The more input we have from parents, caregivers, students, community members and staff, the better we can be. Even though your child is out of elementary school, they still need you to take an interest in their current job succeeding in high school.

We Meet to Talk

We meet approximately six times a year. If you would like more information or to be put on a distribution list to be informed prior to each meeting, please contact Shannon Peters by phone at 306-683-7807 or by email at peterss@spsd.sk.ca. We would love for you to join the School Community Council!
