The Adult 12 program permits eligible students to obtain Grade 12 standing by successfully completing the following courses without having prerequisites:
- English A30 or A31
- English B30 or B31
- History 30 or 31; or Native Studies 30 or 31
- A 20- or 30-level math (Math Workplace Apprenticeship 20 and 30, Math Foundations 20 and 30, Precalculus 20 and 30, Calculus 30)
- A 20- or 30-level science (Health Science 20 or 21, Environmental Science 20, Physical Science 20; Biology 30, Chemistry 30, or Physics 30)
- Two Grade 12 electives (one of which may be Prior Learning 30). These include Creative Writing 30, Visual Art 30, Psychology 30, Religions of the World 30, Life Transitions 30, Housing 30, or Foods 30.
We also offer Pathways 30 for students looking back to transition into schooling, if they have not previously been successful at completing a high school credit. Pathways 30 is an Elective 30 credit.
Who is eligible?
- Individuals 18 years of age who have been out of school for at least one year
- Individuals 19 years of age or older
