Thanks to Cameco’s generous $585,000 donation, Saskatchewan will have its first Centre of Excellence in Science and Mathematics. The Centre allows high school students to advance their education while learning about careers in engineering, mining and geology.

Opening September 2014 at Bedford Road Collegiate the Cameco Centre of Science and Mathematics is a specialized program that provides students with practical hand-on experience and problem solving skills in an interactive state-of-the-art lab environment.  Students will learn design fundamentals, and work with robotic, pneumatic, electrical, and other technologies to acquire knowledge, skills and attributes that will be used to solve, communicate and document solutions to authentic engineering problems.
