Lee Braaten recognized for leadership contributions to SPS Foundation

BraatenAward_web.jpg​Volunteers are at the heart of our organization, and Saskatoon Public Schools Foundation was pleased to recognize board  member Lee Braaten during the National Philanthropy Day celebration.

Braaten, who has been a member of the board of directors since 2010 and served as the foundation's president for several years, was presented with an Honoured Supporter Award by the foundation's executive director Alison Robertson during the celebration held on Nov. 15, National Philanthropy Day.

During his tenure as president, Braaten played an instrumental role in the success of several major initiatives and the development of the foundation's effort to help provide and fund high impact, literacy-focused programming for students in Saskatoon Public Schools.

His passion for education, dedication to supporting youth and thoughtful leadership played an essential role in the growth of Saskatoon Public Schools Foundation and its success in supporting student learning in our community.
