Saskatoon Public Schools is proud to operate and support its own in-house homestay program.  Our dedicated Homestay Coordinator and SIE staff work directly with international students and their host families before and during a student's stay. This model allows us to provide students with a safe, supportive, and well-matched home environment while they study in Canada.

What are the advantages of choosing our homestay program?

Students benefit from thoughtful matching with a host family, ongoing local support, and a team that knows them personally and can respond quickly when help is needed. Living with a Canadian family helps students improve their English, experience Canadian culture firsthand, and feel supported both inside and outside the classroom.

With direct oversight and strong relationships with schools and host families, our in-house homestay program ensures students feel welcome, cared for, and set up for success.

Choosing homestay is simple. In the online student application, just check the box stating that you require homestay, and new sections will open so you can apply for the homestay program.
