Saskatoon International Education will automatically purchase comprehensive insurance on behalf of students regardless of their length of study. This is mandatory

Saskatoon International Education partners with Ingle Lewer to provide international students with the best, most affordable comprehensive health coverage plan.

The Ingle Lewer Kindergarten to Grade 12 plan provides reimbursement of expenses and services, including:

  • Hospital services/emergent care
  • Physician/doctor fees
  • Telemedicine services
  • Prescription drug coverage
  • Psychiatric and psychotherapy services
  • Emergency/accidental dental procedures
  • Diagnostic testing
  • Medical supplies and equipment
  • Paramedical services (emergency transportation)
  • Out-of-province/travel coverage (including any travel with the school, homestay, etc., as well as coverage during travel home)
  • Tutoring.

Students will also have access to online services through their student portal, including:

  • Telemedicine Virtual Clinic
  • Mental Health Hotline
  • Mental health peer-to-peer platform
  • Travel legal counsel
  • Health Navigation Platform (for looking up symptoms, conditions, medications, etc.)

Saskatoon International Education will help students staying longer than one year to apply for a Saskatchewan health card.
