We were informed March 8, 2024 that the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation (STF) will be
withdrawing support for extracurricular activities across the province from Monday, March 11 to Wednesday, March 13, 2024. This includes any extra-curricular activities that take place before school, during the lunch hour, after school and in the evening.
This means the following activities will be cancelled for Monday, March 11, Tuesday, March 12 and Wednesday, March 13, 2024:
- All Saskatchewan High School Athletics Association (SHSAA) activities
- All athletic practices and games
- All musicals, concerts or theatre performances
- Any school clubs that operate as extracurricular activities.
As a school division, we respect the collective bargaining process. Our number one priority is the safety of our students and maintaining a focus on student learning. We are committed to keeping parents, caregivers and families informed of future job action and changes to school operations.
