Greeting
It is with great pride that we bring greetings from Princess Alexandra Community School, a place of learning with a rich history and tradition. Alexandra School opened in 1907, with Princess School following five years later. In 1961, the old Princess School was replaced with the building that exists today. In 1984, Alexandra School was demolished and combined with Princess School to form Princess Alexandra Community School. In 2007, our school community celebrated its 100-year anniversary with a special event that included a visit from our Mayor, MLA, and many other special guests.

We are immensely proud of our entire school staff who works extremely hard each and every day to provide our students with a warm and caring learning environment in a culturally responsive way. We do so through hard work, dedication, listening to the needs and wishes of our community, and by working together. Our staff works closely with our School Community Council to create and maintain a school where people are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion all the time.

Please feel free to stop in for a cup of coffee, a tour, and a discussion about all the wonderful things our school community can offer you and your family.
