About Our School

At Brevoort Park School, we are building the future now.

Brevoort Park School, Home of the Bobcats, opened in 1964 and is located in the southeast part of Saskatoon in a vibrant community of the same name. As Bobcats, we live by ROAR - Respect, Our community, Acceptance, and Responsibility.

We believe the best learning opportunities occur both in the classroom and outside of it. That is why our students have the opportunities to take part in a wide array of extracurricular activities and other school-wide opportunities to perform, lead, and shine.

Parents and caregivers are our students' first teachers and that the parent knowledge you have is invaluable and essential to your child's learning success. A team environment where school staff and parents can work together will have the biggest impact on your child's learning.

Families in our school community are supported by the Parents' Child Development Co-operative for Before and After School Care.

We proudly offer both full-day, every day and half-day, every day Kindergarten schedules.

School Culture

Students benefit from a calm and respectful environment where everyone who is part of the Brevoort Park School family can feel ownership and pride.

We believe that all students can succeed in the right environment. We set learning expectations high and support our students to reach those expectations. We recognize diverse styles of learning and strive to instill a sense of agency and empowerment in each student.

We believe we have a responsibility to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action that pertain to education. We believe our students' hearts and minds are open for learning. We are responsible for teaching them about Canada's history of colonialism and the impact of residential schools, which is a difficult yet essential aspect of their educational journey. This knowledge is foundational to the goal of reconciliation.
