We opened our doors in September 2017 and hope this website will help you find pertinent information about our school. We are a kindergarten​ to Grade 8 school that has a unique special education classroom called Functional Life Skills for students in grades 5 to 8. To date, our enrollment is approximately 1,000 students. We have a staff of approximately 90, which includes teachers, support staff and our administrative team. 

At Sylvia Fedoruk School, we are committed to providing a safe, joyful and positive learning environment for our students. Our school's motto is "Dream, Discover, Achieve" and it reflects our shared belief of striving for excellence in both academics and inclusiveness. Sylvia Fedoruk​​ was a kind, innovative and well-respected leader in our community. With help from parents and caregivers, our staff works incredibly hard at helping our students model these same virtues in her honour. 

As we continue to grow in the Evergreen and Aspen Ridge neighbourhoods, we look for ways to build strong relationships between your home and the school. We want staff, students, parents and caregivers ​to take great pride in our school for many years to come. Our goal is to create one large Sylvia Fedoruk family where students, parents and caregivers feel supported and included in our learning community.
