​Saskatoon Public Schools offers the most diverse programming options in Saskatchewan and works hard to ensure all students are engaged in their learning.

​​Academic Upgrading Academy
Students who wish to complete Grade 12 or upgrade their previous marks, or add a credit class that they require for post-secondary training, are well served in this setting.
 
​​Advanced Placement
Advanced Placement) courses are options for able students who want to enrich and challenge themselves in particular subjects by working on university-level material while still in high school.
 
Aviation Maintenance Orientation
Students learn the theory of flight, basic aircraft design and the purpose of aircraft systems. Offered at Mount Royal Collegiate.
 
Flexible Schedule Blended Learning
The FLEX program allows Grade 7-10 students to combine education with outside, high-level training. Located at City Park School.
 
High School Carpentry Apprenticeship
Students experience all aspects of the residential construction industry by building a home. Offered at Mount Royal Collegiate.
 
International Baccalaureate Diploma 
IB World Schools share a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education. Offered at Aden Bowman and Bedford Road collegiates.
 
International Student Program
Saskatoon International High School Program offers international students the opportunity to study in Saskatoon, Canada’s top-ranked city for education.
 
Pre-Engineering
Students use hands-on learning stations to develop the technical and communication skills needed to solve problems. Offered at Bedford Road Collegiate.
 
​​SAGE
A Grade 5-12 congregated program for gifted students. SAGE is offered at three elementary schools and three collegiates
 
Skilled Trades of Construction
Students learn practical and theoretical knowledge in seven different construction sub trades. Offered at Walter Murray Collegiate.
 
Summer School
Classes allow high school students and adults to upgrade their academic standing to meet graduation and post-secondary entrance requirements.

Career & Experiential Learning Academy
Experiential learning is connected to both careers and other academic areas so that students can study course material in active and meaningful ways both at school and in the community.
 
Career & Work Education Program
This program provides students with an opportunity to blend theoretical and practical experience both in the classroom and at a work site other than the classroom.
 
​​​Collective Voice
This half-day, full-year program for Grade 9 students emphasizes learning through collaboration, group work and community building. Offered at Aden Bowman Collegiate.
 
Community Engagement Academy
Community Engagement offers students the chance to study in a program where opportunities are linked to community resources and programs.
 
​​German Exchange Program
Saskatoon Public Schools coordinates a three-month exchange program for Grade 11 students with the German state of Schleswig-Holstein.
 
Media School
Media School is a full-term program that explores the world of making films and television. Based at Evan Hardy Collegiate.
 
​​Outdoor School
Students have an opportunity to work with many leading experts in the scientific and adventure sport community. Based at City Park School.
 
SEED
Students have opportunities to improve their health by engaging in a wide variety of physical activities, growing and preparing food, and critically thinking about lifestyle choices. Offered at Aden Bowman Collegiate.
 
​​​Tourism Academy
Students develop the skills needed for post-secondary education, for life-long learning and for work in the travel and tourism industry. 
 

 

​​​Hockey Program
A skills development course offered to Grade 9 and Grade 10 students at Bedford Road and Walter Murray collegiates.
 
Soccer Academy
Students have the opportunity to improve their skills as they work with one of the top coaches in Canada. Located at Centennial Collegiate.
 
Students with the opportunity to build their skills in the sport in combination with their education. Located at Tommy Douglas Collegiate.
 
SSSAD
The Saskatoon Secondary Schools Athletic Directorate plans, supervises and co-ordinates interschool athletic activities, leagues and city championships in Saskatoon.
