We were informed today that the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation (STF) will be withdrawing the services of all teachers in the province for the entire day on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
As a result of this one-day strike, all classes, transportation (busing and taxi), before and after school programs and extracurricular activities in Saskatoon Public Schools will be cancelled for that day. Students should not attend school on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
As a school division, we respect the collective bargaining process. Our number one priority is the safety of our students, and we are committed to keeping parents, caregivers and families informed of future job action and changes to school operations.
