​At our meeting on June 11th we reviewed design options for the playground in Wallace Park. The existing structure will remain, and new features will be added. Approximate cost of the project could be in the range of $100 000.

A group of parents are going to put together a fundraising package over the summer, as well as look into becoming a registered organization so we can legitimately raise funds for this project.

We will need assistance in the fall to coordinate specific tasks such as grant applications and findraising initiatives. As school begins in September we will review possible designs with students, have them select the design they prefer, then proceed with kicking off our campaign.
