City Park School is a diverse and welcoming learning community that is home to a number of Saskatoon Public Schools' unique programs. The programs offered at City Park provide challenges for students ranging from Grades 1-12 in-person and K-8 online and make the school an out-of-the-ordinary learning environment for staff, students and families.

Ecoquest is a unique ecological, outdoor adventure program for Grade 8 students that provides active and challenging learning experiences. With Saskatchewan's diverse landscape as the classroom, Ecoquest students participate in field studies that bring the curriculum to life through exciting experiences and first hand exploration.

The FLEX -- Flexible Schedule, Blended Learning -- Program is designed for students in Grade 6 to Grade 12 who wish to combine their education with pursuits that are often found outside school offerings. The program allows students a flexible school schedule to pursue skill development in athletics or the arts during school hours and access to their classwork 24/7.

The elementary Montessori Program at City Park School began operation in September 2016 and is offered to students in Grades 1 to 8. Montessori philosophy and methodology is used to deliver Saskatchewan curricula. Based on the educational ideals of Maria Montessori of following the child, learning is individualized and presented to match the stages of development of children.

City Park also hosts the school division's Elementary English Online Learning program (OLE), which offers courses in grades K-8.
