North Park Richmond Heights Preschool offers a warm, caring and safe environment where children can develop through play-based learning. Upon entering our bright and colorful classroom, you will soon realize you have entered a special place. North Park Richmond Heights Preschool incorporates teacher guided group activities and self-directed experiences. We are a school readiness program for three and four-years-olds, and we focus on fun-filled activities that are stimulating and educational. All students must be three years old by September 1 and fully toilet trained. The bathroom is located down the hallway from the preschool room, so the child must be totally independent when going to the bathroom.
We are a non-cooperative program. This provides a unique opportunity for parents who are unable to commit to help out in the classroom. Our organization is maintained and administered by the parents of the enrolled children. A qualified teacher is employed to guide the educational program. The preschool program is a non-profit organization that relies heavily on fundraising. Each parent is expected to fulfill certain fundraising duties as part of their non-cooperative experience. There is an alternative in place that allows parents to opt out of fundraising through a one-time fee.
North Park Richmond Heights Preschool has an excellent reputation with parents and the community. The young child is the focal point of our school. Our program helps the child develop at their own rate in all areas: social, emotional, cognitive and physical. We believe in the idea that purposeful play is learning and truly the work of the young child.
