Experiential learning means that students study course material in active and meaningful ways both at school and in the community. Students who have the chance to learn in this way are highly engaged in their learning. For example, in our Nutana Career and Industry Education class students spend the entire year with the same cohort and build close connections with classmates, teachers and community members. Integrated subjects and hands-on projects are used to build relevance in learning, and certification opportunities and career experience help students build on their strengths and plan for their future.​
