About
Students who enroll in Centennial Collegiate’s Soccer Academy have the opportunity to earn a physical education credit while playing a sport they enjoy.
Students from grades 9 to 12 from all areas of Saskatoon with a passion for soccer, regardless of skill level, are welcome to join. Throughout the course, students improve their skills and abilities by learning from qualified teachers and coaches, who instruct students individually and in small and large groups. The class requires a high level of engagement in both teamwork and peer coaching as students come to the class with a variety of abilities and experiences, from someone who is just beginning to those who have played for years. The one thing all students have in common is a love for soccer. Classes take place at the SaskTel Sports Centre, a state-of-the-art turf facility.
