Dance
The following collegiates offer dance academies and programs for students in grades 10 to 12.

The goal of dance academies* and programs is to provide an environment where students develop their dance technique through a variety of styles such as ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical and street dance. Special guest choreographers broaden the range of dance styles and techniques students experience. β€‹β€‹β€‹In addition, dancers increase their knowledge by studying the foundational elements of dance, including technique, choreography, critique and basic anatomy. Dance classes are active, energetic and designed to improve the physical fitness, strength, flexibility and self-confidence of dancers. β€‹

Dance is open to both students with previous dance training and those new to the discipline β€” teachers are equipped to instruct beginner to advanced dancers in an inclusive manner. The semester culminates with a performance showcasing various styles of dance. These dance recitals teach students the value of recital etiquette for a performance-based industry. They are also a great opportunity for students to show off their growth and hard work. A Dance 30 mark can be used for scholarship and admission to the University of Saskatchewan. Students who combine their passion for dance with their academic pursuits show greater success both during and after school.

*Academies offer professional studios with sprung floors to ensure dancers' well-being and top performance.
