The Board of Education held its first meeting of the 2024-25 school year on Sept. 17, 2024.
Trustees and other attendees were treated to a presentation from an outstanding Walter Murray student named Joti Gokaraju. Joti invented a device that connects with an App (also his invention), that allows deaf/blind persons to communicate with non deaf/blind persons. The system was developed as part of a science project he undertook in the SAGE program.
