Choir
Choir is offered to students in grades 9 to 12 who wish to develop their vocal, ensemble and musical skills through the performance of choral music. The repertoire selected represents a diverse range of musical periods and styles. Choir students will learn elements of music theory, music appreciation, vocal techniques and performance skills through participation in this non-auditioned choir. Students are required to participate in and attend several concerts and festival performances throughout the term.

Choir runs two noon hours and one morning per week.

Choir performances include school concerts, the Saskatoon Music Festival and community performances. Choir students are also thrilled to be part of an intergenerational choir project with the University of Saskatchewan Greystone Singers and elders from Sherbrooke Seniors Village.

Choir assignments are completed through Google Classroom.

For performances, choir students wear all black and perform wearing school choral robes.
