βThe resource program is designed to support students who need additional help with their academic course work. This is accomplished through several sections of co-teaching with regular education teachers in core classes and the operation of a full-time, direct-service, resource classroom, which is a non-credit elective.
In this smaller group setting, students can access instruction and assistance with subject material, as well as work on the development of study, test-taking, time management, organization and advocacy skills. Students who have designated disabilities and/or learning, attention, behavioural or social disabilities should be in contact with the resource teacher(s), either through direct contact or through their current resource teacher.
Permission from a resource teacher is required to register in this class.
