Schedule and Registration

Summer 2026 Driver Education classes will be offered in two sessions: July 6–17, 2026 and July 20–31, 2026.

The July 20–31 session is now full, and new applications for this session will be waitlisted. To add their name to the waitlist, students must complete the Online Registration Form.

About

Summer Driver Education includes ten mornings of in-person theory instruction.

To qualify for the SGI road test, students must:

• Attend all 30 hours of instruction
• Complete six hours of in-car instruction*
• Obtain a passing mark on exams administered in class. 

*In-car instruction will be scheduled by an instructor when the student returns to school in the fall.

Eligibility Requirements

Students must:

• Be enrolled in a Saskatoon Public School.
• Be 15 years of age by the start date of the program.
• Have a MySGI account and customer number from any SGI agency before applying.
• Have the ability to practice at home with an experienced driver during the program.
