Note: Registration appointments for prekindergarten or kindergarten for September 2026 can be booked as early as January 2026, including application support for full-day kindergarten.
If you have questions about your child's eligibility, or want more information about the registration process, contact our office at nsc@spsd.sk.ca or 306-683-8400.
Prepare for Your Appointment
We look forward to meeting you! At least one parent/legal guardian and the child(ren) registering for school are required to be at the appointment. During the appointment, we will:
- Confirm immigration status by reviewing immigration documents.
- Give information about our schools.
- Help complete the registration form.
- Learn more about your child.
Additionally, for children who speak a language other than English, we will:
- Assess your child's English skills.
- Explain English as an Additional Language (EAL) support and programming for students.
This information will be sent to the school and used to support your child’s English language learning. It will not be used to place your child in a grade level. Grade level is determined by your child’s date of birth.
