The Saskatoon Public Schools Board of Education held its annual organizational meeting on November 3, 2026, re-electing Kim Stranden as Board Chair and electing two vice chairs: Kirk Jones (Ward 6) and Tanya Napper (Ward 1). 

Trustee Jones will serve as vice chair until April 30, 2027. Trustee Napper will serve from May 1, 2027, until the next annual organizational meeting in fall 2027.

Newly elected Trustee, Janet Uchacz-Hart (Ward 5), was also officially sworn in at this meeting.

The annual organizational meeting is held to establish board leadership, committee appointments, and governance arrangements for the coming year.

The Board's next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 24, at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are held in the W.B. Doyle Board Room at the Saskatoon Public Schools central administrative office (310 21st St. E.). Members of the public are welcome to attend in person or online via the livestream available here.
