Ward 5 Trustee By-Election - Meet the Candidates!
A by-election has been called to fill the vacant Ward 5 trustee position on the Saskatoon Public Schools Board of Education. The election will be held on October 28, 2026.
Saskatoon Public Schools within Ward 5 include: Brownell, Lawson Heights, River Heights, Silverwood Heights, Silverspring, and Marion M. Graham.
The following individuals have announced their candidacy:
- Murray Guest
- Kim Hoffart
- Doug Porteous
- Janet Uchacz-Hart
- Ryan Vanjoff
All candidates have been invited to take part in a Candidate Forum. The forum is an opportunity for candidates to introduce themselves to Ward 5 voters, share why they are seeking the position of trustee, answer questions from the community, and discuss what they would bring to the role.
The forum will take place at Silverwood Heights School on October 6, from 7–8 p.m. All Ward 5 residents are welcome to attend.
