Saskatoon Public Schools is a proud supporter of this year’s Michif Language Camp held in Batoche, Saskatchewan, a historic land significant to our Métis/Michif people.
The camp is organized by the Central Urban Métis Federation Inc. (CUMFI) and supported by Saskatoon Public Schools, Métis Nation-Saskatchewan, and Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools.
Learning the Michif language is a vital way to preserve Métis/Michif culture and history for future generations. This camp is open to all ages and provides an opportunity for participants to immerse themselves in Métis/Michif language and culture.
